2. Confirmed who is bringing what for our Día de comida tomorrow AND committed to jobs during our food day.  ¡Qué diversión!

3.  Práctica – las preposiciones (pg. 154) = We learned/reviewed a Mexican children’s rhyme using the prepositions of place and I taught some simple choreography to go along with it.

4. ORAL del PRETERITO – we did 7 rounds of asking/answering questions from lessons 2B & 3A = simple past tense.  I’m so proud of how well you all did!  Gracias, estudiantes!

5. We watched El express al Polo Norte.

La historia oficial - repasamos las tareas del paquete: la organizador gráfica, las preguntas A y B y La línea temporal del argumento.

1) Act. 3-7, pg. 82: Investigate 3 people from the Spanish-speaking world who have been honored for their work for Peace and/or Human Rights.  Write up a short paragraph (at least 5 sentences each - en español - por supuesto) about each one and his/her work.
2) Continue with the movie packet - filling in the "Story Map" = Lugar, Narrador, Personaje principal + descripciones de ellos.

1. Warm-up: "Prueba" over Ser & Ir in the preterite.
2. Irregular Preterite verbs: We reviewed the VERB GRID started in class and finished as homework.  We used it for partner question/answer drills and also with the NEW PINK IRREGULAR PRETERITE VERB PACKET.  We worked through the study notes and Practices A, B & C.
3. WAVA - new packet - Listening Activities 5 & 6.
4. Direct Object Pronouns - NEW BLUE PACKET - worked through the first 2 pages, reviewing WHAT direct objects and their pronouns are & HOW to use them.
5. GUIA de estudios - A 5 DAY study plan to help you get ready for TUESDAY'S 3A TEST.

2. Introduced and practiced Direct Object Pronouns – see page 138. Also get the handout with Subject Pronouns and Object Pronouns at the top with explanations and practices on the bottom.

3. Irregular Preterites – see pps 140 & 142: We started a verb grid using all of the verbs on page 2 of the white EL PRETERITO  packet.

Tarea:

2. Finish the Irregular Preterite Verb Grid begun today in class.  Use ALL of the verbs on page 2 of the White EL PRETERITO packet.

  (D) Wrote out Activity 15, pg. 140 - first working with a partner and then reviewing all together.
