2. Compartimos nuestros párrafos que escribimos anoche con otras personas

3. Hablamos del arte, usando las tarjetas con obras de arte mexicanas. Escribimos descripciones, nuestras opiniones, y luego hicimos comparaciones en parejas.

2. Took Chapter 1 Exam: Listening & Reading Comprehension; Writing in the past tense: el imperfecto y el pretérito. (81 points)

3. Continued with our national parks power point presentations.

4. Watched a video about ecoturism and sports travel in the Spanish-speaking world.

Español II el 16 de marzo de 2011

1. We did a "round robin" correction on the "Repaso de todo" homework review sheet - Students selected on another to fill-in the answers and then we went over them together.

2. Crucigrama - students checked their answers against the key.

3. Those selected as the "estrellas" from our group presentation of projects yesterday presented to the whole class today - and we debriefed what structures/vocabulary from the lesson they included.

4. Chapter 1B test = Students had 35 minutes to work on the test, but several said they would have likes about 10 minutes more - so they'll have that amount of time to review/complete it in our next class.

1. Escuchar: You will hear stories of people going places, you will have to identify the person speaking, what they did, and what the result was

2. Leer: You will read descriptions of people and have to match them up with their school competitions

3. Imperfect - You will need to write sentences using the imperfect -study regular and irregular verbs

4. You will have to decide whether to use the preterit or the imperfect based on the context of a narrative and conjugate the verb accordingly
